Full and Part-Time Counselor: LPC-A, LPC, LMSW Licensed in Texas
Are you looking for a full-time or part-time position as an LPC-A? We are looking to add to our inclusive team for our community. Empower Therapy Counseling Center is seeking LPC-Associates to join our team. The successful candidate will provide counseling, therapy, and mental health services to individuals, couples, families and groups. The therapist will work collaboratively with clients to identify and address personal, emotional, and psychological issues that may be impacting their well-being and relationships.
Our Counseling Center provides therapeutic support utilizing a variety of methods to serve the needs of the community with a special and unique focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder. We provide services to other populations as well. If you are looking for a space to learn and grow as a clinician with a team of dedicated professionals, we want to speak with you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments and evaluations of clients to determine their mental health needs and develop treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and circumstances.
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to clients in a safe, supportive, and confidential environment.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions to help clients manage their emotional and psychological challenges, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure positive outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and complete client records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to provide comprehensive care to clients.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay up to date on best practices, trends, and emerging research in the field of mental health.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Have a Texas State licensure of LPC-A
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions.
- Ability to establish rapport with clients, empathize with their experiences, and build trusting relationships.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning
